#Simple Lamb Kebabs

This is a simple method of preparation which is a perfect dish for your summer grilling party. You can do this marination process a day before also. Longer the marination process tastier the kebabs will be. Lets go into the process.....

Serves :- 2-3 people
Preparation time :- 15 mins
Cooking time :- 45 mins
Measurements :- in grams and in spoons

*tbsp - Tablespoon
*tsp   - Teaspoon

Ingredients
  1. Lamb meat                  - 500 grams
  2. Yogurt (3.5% fat)        - 1 and ½ tbsp
  3. Turmeric powder        -  ½ tsp
  4. Coriander powder       -  ½ tbsp
  5. Garam masala powder - ½ tbsp
  6. Chilli powder               - 1 tsp   (optional)
  7. Crushed Pepper            - ½ tsp
  8. Chopped Ginger           - ½ tbsp
  9. Chopped Garlic            - ½ tbsp
  10. Salt                               - as per taste
  11. Oil                                 - 1 tbsp
Method
  1. In a bowl add all the above ingredients together and mix it well. Check for the salt level and adjust it at this time.
  2. Marinate the meat at least for 2 hours or over night in the refrigerator. 
  3. On Barbecue grill / Stove top grill - Brush some oil on top and grill it on each side for 20 - 22 minutes.
  4. In the oven - Preheat the oven at 200 degree Celsius and bake it for 40 minutes. The turn the grill on and grill each side of the meat for 5 minutes. 
  5. Your kebab is ready. Serve it with salad or rice of your choice.
Tips
The same marination and steps can be used with chicken, potato, mushroom, capsicum, paneer or tofu.
