#Chicken 65

 Yes! this name sounds funny and the reason behind this name also sounds funny I guess 😃. Some says that this recipe was first found in the year 1965. Some says this recipe includes 65 ingredients. Some says that this recipe is done with the chicken which is 65 days old. What ever no one knows the exact reason behind this name but the name remains the same 😊😊 Lets get into the recipe.....

Serves :- 2-3 people
Preparation time :- 10 mins
Cooking time :- 20 mins
Measurements :- in grams and in spoons

*tbsp - Tablespoon
*tsp   - Teaspoon

Ingredients
  1. Chicken         - 500 grams (boneless)
  2. Ginger paste  - ½ tbsp
  3. Garlic paste   - ½ tbsp
  4. Turmeric powder   - ½ tsp
  5. Chilli powder        - ½ tbsp  (optional)
  6. Coriander powder - ½ tbsp
  7. Garam Masala powder  - ¼ tbsp
  8. Lemon juice         - ¾ tbsp
  9. Egg    - 1 medium size
  10. Thick curd         - ½ tbsp
  11. Oil       -   ½ tbsp  + 2 tbsp ( Olive oil or Sesame oil)
  12. Rice flour or Cornflour    - ¾ tbsp
  13. Salt  - as per taste
Method 
  1. In a bowl add add the ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, chilli powder (you can add more if you like), coriander powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice, curd, egg, salt and ½ tbsp oil. Mix everything well until all combined. Check the salt level now and adjust according to your taste. 
  2. Then add the chicken and mix well. Then sprinkle the rice flour or cornflour on the mixture. Mix until everything well combined. Marinate this for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator. 
  3. In a wide pan add 2 tbsp of oil and heat it up for 3 minutes in a medium point. Place the chicken pieces one by one with proper gap. Do not add more at a time. Cook the chicken on each side for 3-4 minutes approximately. 
Tips
  1. Cut the meat into medium sized pieces so that it will help to cook faster. 
  2. If you want to cook this in the oven, then preheat the oven at 200 degree Celsius for 10 minutes. place the chicken on a tray and cook it for 30 minutes broil it for 5 minutes. 
  3. You can use this same recipe for Fish also. 

Serve it hot with a slice of lemon and some onions. 😊😊
