Christmas is on the way and its time for making your sweets and cookies. Here is my simple recipe for a cookie which you will love. It has a balanced taste of salt and sweet and the flavour with cumin gives you a different aroma. Lets get into the recipe....😊
Serves :- 4-5 people
Preparation time :- 10 mins
Cooking time :- 16 mins
Measurements :- in grams and in spoons
*tbsp - Tablespoon
*tsp - Teaspoon
Ingredients
- Flour - 260 grams / 1 cup + 1 tbsp
- Butter - 130 grams / ½ cup + 1 tbsp
- Sugar - 104 grams / ½ cup
- Baking powder - 2 grams / ½ tsp
- Salt - 5 grams / 1 tsp
- Cumin - 8 grams / 2 tsp
- Egg - 1 large
Method
- Keep all your ingredients in the room temperature.
- In a bowl add all your ingredients and mix everything together either with mixer or with hand.
- Once the dough is well combined wrap the dough tightly with a foil. Put it in the fridge for 1 hour.
- After an hour take out the dough, dust it with flour and roll it into 2 cm thick.
- Pre heat the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes.
- Then cut the dough according to your desired shapes.
- Arrange the cookies on a baking tray with baking paper underneath.
- Bake the cookies for about 15-16 minutes.
- Then cool down the cookies and store it in a air tight box.
