#Potato fry

 This is a simple dish made with in few minutes and can be accompanied with rice or roti. Lets get into the recipe....😊

Serves :- 2-3 people
Preparation time :- 10 mins
Cooking time :- 15 - 20 mins
Measurements :- in grams and in spoons

*tbsp - Tablespoon
*tsp   - Teaspoon



Ingredients

  1. Potatoes - 300 grams
  2. Garlic - 2 cloves
  3. Fennel seeds - 1 tsp (optional)
  4. Onion - 1 medium sized 
  5. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  6. Coriander powder - ½ tbsp 
  7. Fresh coriander leaves - few
  8. Salt - as per taste
  9. Oil - 1 tbsp

Method

  1. Peel the potato skin and cut into medium sized pieces. Chop the onion and Garlic.
  2. In a add oil and heat it. Then add fennel seeds, onion and garlic. Saute it for one minute.
  3. Then add the potatoes, turmeric, 1 tsp salt and coriander powder. Mix them well and close the pan. Cook them on medium heat for 10 minutes or until potatoes are cooked soft. Keep mixing the potatoes after every 2 minutes. 
  4. When potatoes are done add the fresh chopped coriander leaves little and mix it. Taste the salt now and if you need more you add at this point.


You can eat this dish with any rice dish or with roti. 😊😊
