#Coconut Chutney ( South Indian coconut dip )

 This is a normal and easy dip / chutney which is made widely in southern part of India. Usually chutney is accompanied with tiffins like  Dosa or Idli or vada. Here is the recipe of my style, lets get into....😊

Serves :- 2-3 people
Preparation time :- 5 mins
Cooking time :- -
Measurements :- in grams and in spoons

*tbsp - Tablespoon
*tsp   - Teaspoon


Ingredients 

  1. Coconut - ½ cup ( freshly grated or desiccated coconut)  
  2. Chopped ginger - ¼ tbsp
  3. Tamarind paste - 1 tsp 
  4. Cashew nuts - 4 to 5 
  5. Green chillies - 2  ( if needed )
  6. water - ½ cup
  7. Salt - as per taste

Method 

  1. Add all the ingredients in a blender or mixer. Grind it all together into a fine smooth chutney.
  2. That is it, your chutney is ready in no time.
