#AalooGobi Masala ( Indian dry curry with potato and cauliflower)

 'Aaloo' means Potato and 'Gobi' means Cauliflower. This is a simple dry masala curry which goes perfectly with any Indian breads. You can make this with simple ingredients and cooked in few minutes. I have written here my style of making and hope you would also love this. Lets get into the recipe...😊

Serves :- 3 people
Preparation time :- 15 mins
Cooking time :- 15 mins
Measurements :- in grams and in spoons

*tbsp - Tablespoon
*tsp   - Teaspoon



Ingredients

  1. Cauliflower - 1 medium sized
  2. Potato  - 2 medium sized
  3. Onion  - 1 medium sized 
  4. Ginger - 1 inch piece
  5. Garlic - 2 cloves
  6. Cumin - 2 tsp
  7. Coriander powder - 2 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  9. Yogurt - 1 tbsp 
  10. Salt - as per taste
  11. Oil - 1 tbsp
  12. Fresh coriander - few 

Method 

  1. Cut the potato and cauliflower into pieces as you like.
  2. Chop the onions into small pieces.
  3. In a pot add oil and heat it. Then add cumin seeds, garlic, ginger and onion. Saute it for 1 minute.
  4. Then add vegetables, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix them all well and add ¼ cup of water. Close the pot and cook it for 10 minutes in medium heat. 
  5. Once the vegetables are cooked, keep the pot open for 2 minutes. Let the water evaporates and dry out little bit. Then finally add yogurt and mix it well.
  6. Check the salt taste and adjust accordingly. Sprinkle some fresh coriander leaves.
