#Deviled Eggs with Scrambled Fish

I love Deviled eggs in general. So I planned to give a twist with the regular one and serve it for a weekend brunch. All these preparation can be done a day before and you can just top it at the time of serving. This can also be served as a appetiser or as a side dish during party time. I hope you will like it too. Serves :- 4-5 people
Preparation time :- 30 mins
Cooking time :- 20 mins
Measurements :- in grams and in spoons

*tbsp - Tablespoon
*tsp   - Teaspoon


Ingredients
  1. Eggs     - 5 large
  2. Mayonnaise   - 15 gram / 1 tbsp
  3. Mustard paste -  7 gram / ½ tbsp
  4. Curry mango sauce  - 15 gram / 1 tbsp   (optional)
  5. Red onion  - 2 medium sized 
  6. Garlic  - 4 cloves
  7. Ginger  - 2 inch piece
  8. Green chillies   - 3to 4 (optional)
  9. Fish fillet  - 300 gram 
  10. Curry leaves (*)    - few
  11. Mustard seeds(*)  - 2.5 grams / 1 tsp (optional)
  12. Cumin seeds   - 2.5 grams /  1 tsp
  13. Sesame oil   - 30 ml  / 2 tbsp
  14. Turmeric powder(*)    - 5 grams / 2 tsp
  15. Coriander powder   -  ½ tbsp
  16. Salt  - 7.5 grams  / 3 tsp  

Method
  1. In a pan with water boil the eggs first. Make sure the boiling time is only 10 minutes and not more than that. Peel of the shell and keep it aside
  2. In an another pan, add 3 cups water, 1 tsp of turmeric powder and Salt 1.5 tsp. Allow it to boil and add the fish fillet into it. Boil it for 10 minutes. Peel the skin of the fish, break it into small pieces.
  3. In a separate pan add oil, heat it up. Then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, onion, ginger, garlic, green chillies. Saute them until the onion turns light brown. Then add turmeric, 1.5 tsp salt and coriander powder. Saute well 2 minutes. Then add the boiled fish pieces into it. Saute them well until all combined and looks scrambled.
  4. Now cut the boiled eggs into half. Take out the yellow yolk into a separate bowl. Smash it smooth with a spoon. Then add the mayonnaise, mustard paste and curry mango sauce. Mix well and fill this mixture into the gap of the eggs. 
  5. On top of the yolk mixture place this scrambled fish also. Sprinkle some Paprika powder on it. Decorate it of your choice. 
Tips
  1. Shark fish or Salmon fish fillet tastes good for this recipe. But you can choose any boneless fish.
  2. The ingredients marked (*) are available only in Indian stores, if you are not living in India. If you do not add this one for this recipe is also fine. The taste would not change. 
  3. Salt and Spice can be adjusted according to your taste. 
  4. The scrambled fish can also be served with rice or snack it just like that.
  5. The egg boiling part and yolk filling part can be done previous day and store it inside the fridge. Fish part can be done at the time of serving.
