  5. Green peas                               -  150 grams  / ¾ th cup
  6. Tomato                                     - 3 medium sized
  7. Paneer (Indian Cheese) (*)      -  350 grams
  8. Coriander powder                    -  ½ tbsp
  9. Garam masala Powder (*)       -  ½ tbsp
  10. Oil                                            - 1 tbsp
  11. Butter                                       -  1 tbsp
  12. Cumin seeds                             - 1 tsp
  13. Salt                                           - as per taste
  14. Milk                                         - 2 tbsp
  15. Sugar                                       - ½ tbsp
Method
  1. In a bowl add some warm water. Cut the Paneer into cubes as you like and put it into the warm water for 10 minutes. This will clean your Paneer and keep it soft.
  2. Next in a pan add oil, allow it to heat up. You can take any oil of your choice.
  3. Then add cumin seeds into it, then onion, garlic and ginger. Saute it for 2 minutes. Then add tomato, coriander and garam masala powder. Saute it for 5 minutes in medium heat. Then allow this to cool down for 10 minutes.
  4. Then using your mixer or hand blender make this mixture into smooth/coarse puree.
  5. Take another cooking pot, add butter and wait until it melts. Then add this puree and green peas, saute it on medium heat for 2 minutes. Be careful that your puree bubbles up and spit out if you keep it high heat. Then close the pot with lid and cook it for 7 minutes in low flame. Stir it in between to avoid burnt curry.
  6. Then add the Paneer cubes only without the water. Mix it gently. Add sugar, milk and salt (according to your taste). Now close the pot with lid and keep the heat in very low. Let it cook for at least 3 minutes.
  7. Finally before serving garnish it with few chopped coriander leaves if you wish.
Tips
  1. The ingredients marked (*) are available only in Indian stores, if you are not living in India.
  2. Salt and Spice can be adjusted according to your taste.
