#Paneer/ Tofu Tikka ( Vegetable mix marinated with yogurt & Spices)

 Easy and simple recipe perfect for barbecue party or any party as starters . You can add or reduce your spice level according to your taste. Lets go into the recipe......😃

Serves :- 3 people
Preparation time :- 10 mins
Cooking time :- 20 mins
Measurements :- in grams and in spoons

*tbsp - Tablespoon
*tsp   - Teaspoon



Ingredients
  1. Paneer or Tofu      - 250 grams
  2. Capsicum              - 100 grams
  3. Onion                    - 100 grams
  4. Yogurt                   - 3 tbsp
  5. Ginger & Garlic paste  - ½ tbsp
  6. Corn starch flour   - 1 tbsp
  7. Turmeric powder      - ½ tsp
  8. Coriander powder     - 2 tsp
  9. Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  10. Chilli or Paprika powder - ½ tsp  (optional)
  11. Oil     - 2 tbsp
  12. Salt   - as per taste

Method
  1. Cut the Paneer or Tofu into medium sized cubes, also onion and capsicum in the same way.
  2. Marination mix - In a wide bowl add yogurt, ginger & garlic paste, corn starch flour, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, chilli powder, oil and salt.
  3. Mix all the ingredients well. Add the chicken, capsicum and onion into the marination mixture. Mix well and allow it marinate at least for 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator. 
  4. Take a skewers and arrange Paneer/tofu, capsicum and onion one by one. You can cook this on barbecue grill for 10 minutes of all sides (or) On stove top place a pan, add 2 tbsp oil and heat it, place the skewers and cook it on all sides (or) In the oven preheat it for 10 minutes at 200 and cook it for 12 minutes, then broil it for 5 minutes on both sides. 
Tips
  • You can use vegetables like potato, carrots, onion, capsicum, cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms which tastes good or any other vegetables of your choice
